If you cannot find anyone May I offer some cosntructive suggestions - If possible, rent a car and spend a whole day at the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu and Palace house.
and the Bucklers Hard Maritime Museum
which is only a cpuple of miles from Beaulieu.
Beaulieu is near Brockenhurst, about 40 miles from Havant

sorry I can not keep from laughing ... rent a car? I'd do that if people drove on the correct side of the road here. Maybe after I master looking the right way while crossing the street, I'll consider driving.
I currently just take trains and taxis (or walk) so that limits me a little - but I get around.
I have never heard of the museums that you mentioned - maybe I can navigate there at some point. It still does not solve the 'alone' part of my issue

If you get back to Portsmouth you could visit the ships in dry dock or take the hovercraft over to the Isle of Wight.

So get to Brum asap!! Mind its an early start pack the car at 4am and gone for 5am on the field by 6am and then you can have 40 winks in the car! how is that for something to do! Flask and sandwiches supplied plus cold drinks, not beer though sorry.
