Ciao Carina, I always find that initially giving them an indication that yes I would like to see them again and then backing off and waiting....acting not overly interested in whether they call or not (I never call or text in the early days when things are just starting out) but doing my own thing and not being available all the time is oneway to find out. Men like the chase. You become way more interesting to them if you are independent, confident and not clinging on to seeing them. If they do not make the effort and call or pursue then they are not interested.

it's not game playing - it's a matter of dignity. Nice girls do NOT chase boys. If a man is interested he will call, and remember we're talking about the early stages here. Later after you've been together for awhile that is different.I know it sounds old fashioned and cliche - ish but IME - nothing else works - For me, the times I did take the chance & call 1st at his request - or call first early on - things didn't work out
probably because that mode goes against my upbringing so I 'm too far out of my comfort zone there

can you enlighten me on that last sentence. IME men will say - ANYTHING - to get laid - so I hear them saying the same things that the "good guys" say only we find out after- too late- that he was lying (whereas, had he been one of the good guys he would not have been lying)
