What ever, I've been wrong before, and being a 'nam vet I have pictures of me too, with my pastor. Funny how they were different pastors, at different times, in the states, or in any of the countries I served in when overseas. Sometimes i have a problem figuring out where the picture was taken.------ This thread is Archived ------

People are entitled to their opinions. Since I vote I feel I an entitled to speak mine too, but others my have a different opinion, go figure. And since my grand father was a marine and so was my cousin, and an uncle served two tours in Vietnam does that make me even more entitled to state my opnion? I think not. We all can say what we want, but we must learn to live with the reality that not everyone agrees with us and that there may be a back lash to our self importance. Our opinions are only as good as our ability to accept the opinions of others.

Kattsrose: I don't understand charismatic churches that well but the impression I got was that Reverend Wright said what he said, in the way he said it to get people feeling and thinking.
Context is everything. If you stop looking at the clips that were looped, and look at the whole sermon, it's easy to understand what he's talking about.

Wright, reminded me of Red Foxx from Sanford and son, just an annoying loudmouth style, to me that was just his style of preaching, kind of like wwe smackdown and the people in his church were all laughing so bottom line, who cares just like Howard Stern turn him off if you don't like him.
