Englishman55: Two fabulous choices Gabby.... thankyou

Try a singer by the name of Lara Fabian...... she has also sung these and also Vivo per Lei with Bocelli, which in my opinion is the best version of the duet with any female singer.

The womans voice is just magical

here ya go, barrell

Hehe, thank you.

I can play a few classical works on guitar.

Specifically, the Moonlight Sonata is 'adagio sustenuto', which I don't think, or at least in my experience, is played up enough. Perhaps if it was suggested as grave/lacrimoso rubato, I might find more what I like. :) Even perhaps still adagio tempo would be great if it were played towards the lower bound of what that qualifies.

Check out these two examples:

Common (if a wee bit fast yet to be typical):

Preferred:

This work, in particular, I am rather ambivalent about on the typical classical guitar, because it often lacks the very deep, heavy feel of which the work is characteristic.

I think a baritone guitar, or any guitar with an extended lower range, would be more fitting.
