Yes...am not going to go into the whys of this ....but EVERYONE lies it is needed in everyones lives everyday.... a lie is a lie period....white, black or whatever we have to lie to live in this world ...and this is not a lie................ Should we?

I think an outright lie can come back to bite you. However, I believe there's a lot to be said for applying tact and compassion to sensitive situations.

People tell white little lies all the time... no harm in it if you know the boundaries between white little lies and a LIE.

I think one of my problems is that I don't lie enough. I could avoid a lot of headaches if I lied more I think.

I don't tell little white lies. I do believe in "Gentle Truth."
For example if a person has a hideous hairstyle and they ask me if I like it, I do my best to find something positive to say without lieing. You can almost always find something positive to say on most everything, no matter how small.
Example: " WOW! This is certainly a good time of the year for a short hair cut. You will stay really cool. Can you believe it was over 100 degrees yesterday" (subject changed cleverly)
