Hello, people! I´m a single cuban man and I´d like any of you answer some questions I have since a long time.
1st. Does anybody know the meaning of being Cuban?
2nd. Is it possible that a Cuban man or woman fall in love with anybody around the world, or someone from anywhere fall in love with any of us and then get married, live together forever and have children?
Answers:
1st. Being Cuban is to be the most priviledged person in the world. Why? We are totally free to party and to walk any time and any hour by our street with no fear. People say hello to their neighbors all the time, and they respond with a smile. We are living in a country with millions of adversities and we haven´t got so many rights, we all know that. ...

So, if you haven´t come here yet, why do you think we all are the same people? We are current people who went to normal universities, have normal children, in fact a normal life.
I want to know what do people from all over the world think of this.
Thanks for your time.peace

I think it is good that you like your people, culture and your country. Almost everyone does like theirs! As for me, I know nothing about your country except it is south of Florida and most hurricanes hit you before they take away my home.

CUBA!INTERNET

private citizens are prohibited from buying computers or accessing the Internet without special authorization; foreigners may access the Internet in large hotels but are subject to firewalls; some Cubans buy illegal passwords on the black market or take advantage of public outlets to access limited email and the government-controlled "intranet"

Which are you?

I do know my kids (who are fairly well traveled) visited Cuba last year. They said it was the most depressing place theve ever been! There is no colour, bland food, and the peeps are horribly repressed and live in horrid conditions. They realized that its all a big show for the tourists ( pay no attention to the man behind the curtain) and felt as though they were being herded around and watched the whole time...sad really. blues

I think Havana is the most beautiful city I have ever been to! Not what it is left of it now, but what it used to be before, in the beginning of the last century.

I loved the music and the street dance and the fact that people, no matter how little food they had on the table, were very proud to invite you over for dinner!

Cuba reality it's sad but it's something we can't really control, so I choose to embrace it and enjoy it! thumbs up

In my neighborhood there are 2 Cuban guys living here and working as a gim owners. They are black and very popular since there are not native blacks in Argentina.
I know they go to Cuba regularly and come back here without any problem.

Well, my only experience of Cuban culture is regular visits to a Cuban bar with friends here in my city, which often has live Cuban music.

I would like to visit Cuba one day, but sorry to say, friends of mine who have visited recently tell me sad stories of the restrictive environment there, i.e unable to travel around and take photos, Cuban tour guides trying to earn a dollar being picked up by the police....etc.

The closest I've been to a Cuban is during the 1980 Mariel Boat Lift. Spent a month in Key West Florida picking Cubans out of the water while in the USCG

I do know that some of the most priviledged people in Cuba, have greater priveledges then others because they are the neighborhood guardians. Their proportion of goods, housing, and services is greater then others, has they make sure their neighbors do not have anything more then allowed by the government. Everybody is friendly to these people, so not to raise suspicion.confused
