Am sitting here passing time waiting for my lift to the airport to go to Kyiv to see my grandson. Flight got cancelled on Monday so re-booked it for today (Wed morning), in the hope the airport will stay open long enough for me to fly.

I'm sorry but it would probably take a brick to the head to see the light, as it were. I live my life the way I want to and enjoy what I like to do. Yes I smoke, yes I know its bad for me...or at least thats what I'm told. Will I stop? Not unless I get lung cancer and wasn't able to anymore.
The way I look at it, we are told this is bad for you, that will cause cancer. Truth be told I don't think they know for sure. They used to say alcohol was bad for you, now they say a small amount per day is good for you. It keeps your blood thin ect, ect. After my dad's heart attack the doctor actualy told him to have 1 beer a day. At one time we were told coffee, eggs and several other things were bad for you. Years later after more studies, guess what....oops, we were wrong they are ok in moderation, and even in some cases they have done a complete turn around and things that were bad are now actualy good for you. My exwifes aunt died of lung cancer. she never smoked a day in her life. She didn't even allow smoking in her house. Yet when they did the autopsy, it looked like she smoked 4 packs a day for 40 years.
Just my feelings here, but if you live your life around what you are told whats good and bad for you, you might just end up missing out on some fun in life. I don't drink or do drugs anymore not because they were bad for me, but because I chose not to do them. it all comes down to moderation. ANYTHING if abused or over done can be harmful.
