how about going for coffee if you want to make it a short date, or if you want to make it a longer date how about a nice meal, bottle of wine at a restuarant of her choice.

Go with how you feel about her.

I have met first dates that I was not quite comfortable with at a coffee shop.

How comfortable are you with how you feel about her?

Movies are out, you can not even carry on a conversation there.

Both of you will be nervous and she more likely anxious about meeting a guy so keep it public to make you both feel comfortable.

Dinner and talking.......go with the flow, if things go well, ask her if she would like to take a walk in the park............

Good luck.

find out what she would like to do .. if she wants a nice dinner.. take her out or offer to cook for her.. or cook toghether and help with the clean up.. movies dont give you a good chance to talk with each other.. maybe a picnic if the weather is nice.. but talk about it together dont just deside urself what ya'll will go do.. ya know.. we like to have some say in what we do on a date..

Lunch is usually a good thing to do on a first date. If everything goes well, you can then make plans for either the rest of the evening or for another date. If things don't go well then you don't have to worry about the rest of the day. As mentioned by Tumpa, be yourself. This is the most important advice you can get.

if i went a first date i would just like to go for coffee, because if you dont like each other theres nothing worse sitting for hours feeling uncomfortable. so that way you get a nice chat a nice coffee and if you do like each other yo make arrangements for a longer date next time.

How about a picnic at a park? That way you can both get to know one another?

Maybe some sort of activity like bowling and dinner? That way you can both have fun and get to know one another as well?

The best of luck to you both! :o)
