"unashamed pretentiousness"...I like it!! Yeah, I love the area that I live in just now, but I REALLY love the coast more, so would love to live somewhere around St Andrews. It's a really interesting, dynamic and unusual (and pretentious!) little town
Love being on the beach there in the winter when the sea is crashing onto the shore and the wind just about rips ya' ears off! Great stuff! I wouldn't move from the UK while my only remaining family member, my lovely mum, is still living in Norfolk. I would consider moving within the UK though if I found my someone special. I have no strong ties to the area where I am just now.

I just had a great week camping in the Midlands and visiting my daughter, who's just graduated from uni ..
we even saw Celtic (my daughter's fav team) playing Lincoln City
