I assume you never played football and therefore I’m going to forgive your too simple logic. For your knowledge the attitude of a team when the score is draw (it would be 2-2) is very different to the attitude when they are losing the game. They had to risk defensively a lot more. They have to go ahead to kill or die.

You were playing against Germany, they would have still scored 4-2 or 5-2. You played badly and don't start another 44 years of the 2010-1966 story. The last 2 goals happened before your defense noticed what was happening! There could have been another couple.
If England looses there are always excuses.....too many egoes, too old and no team spirit, that's what lost you the match.

sorry merrilou should have said jmo all im saying if ur team gives 100 % u dont mind but they havent played well the whole tournament ,and they can say pressure and all that but there proffesional footballers its there job
Lifes a paradox...and if they would have fed all the England players a good plate of home made spaghetti before the game..the outcome might have been different.
