tarnsnz: Seems to be part of internet dating and been there, done that and left with no answers but you just have to move on but it bugs ya not knowing what happened and the time and effort into that person, even after meeting them....

Thanks. It sucks doesn't it - particularly as each time we meet or talk we get on very well.....

Toffeapple: It would seem either someone else has grabbed her interest more, or she is not sure how to say, thanks but no thanks at this stage.

Thanks is my take on it - been there, done that myself - but I do know that saying no, rather than leaving it up in the air, is better all round and so much nicer and polite too.

I am having a similar issue right now! Am not sure where I stand - it is very very frustrating and annoying and just plain wrong. I have met this person too....

Interest, It would seem so, i mean according to her, she has been so busy,
yet , iv noticed a few times she has stil managed to be on, but yet not send anything...i mean 5 mins, max to send a quick message, but if you are kept around well as a backup so to speak..lol, well its just not rite, i would rather honest up front, moving on if thats the outcome.....but lets look at it logically, if it takes sooo much effort to get 2 messages a week, well Damn, is it really budding Interest..!

Quest4SoulMate: I think we are all talking about people that we've got to know a bit. If you are referring to beginnings then ofcourse dont hang around but sometimes it takes a week or 2 for people to reply to your requests.

Actually I just had a reply from an amasing girl but shes in Coffs HArbour NSW so that will be interesting.

Good Luck from me as well !

skippyguy: Hi All !
ok, here's My question, and its loosely based to the woman out there...and im curious as to different views, or interpretations

Why respond to an email, with lets say obvious eagerness to show you have lots of interest, asking questions, interests..etc
then they don't respond until a week later with excuses like iv been really busy, yet they have been online..lol, Simple question and answer here, and a bit of honesty goes a long way, why not say youve changed your mind, or give sum reason, to your brevity in lack of response, seriously i would rather, hear the truth like im talking to one whom is close by or whatever...rather than just not responding to questions all of a sudden , i myself find that rude......or do others see it as playing the field..???How do you vote woman !! ;)
A lot of men do that too....I've had heaps like that....sometimes people are just busy and maybe they have jumped online quickly just to check stuff but don't really have time to reply to the email just yetdunno

If she is wanting to write a long email maybe it will take more than 5 mins....sometimes there are 50 different things going on while you are writing an email and sometimes it is nice to have no distractions so you can think about what you want to writedrinking
I wouldn't be too worried....if they are interested you will hear from them or just move onwink

I am afraid my tolerance level has got lower as my age has increased!!

If I haven't been 'chatting' to someone for too long (couple of weeks) and it is very random, hit and miss-I am too ready to hit the 'delete' button!!tongue

And if someone starts a chat and then just disappears all together I think well they are down right rude and I am better off not knowing them anyway. Better off without that BS.heart wings sad flower

Hey tarnsnz - this song must have been written with some people we know in mind?? Heard it a lot lately and it is definitely a 'new technology song" - 'Take a dirty Picture' - (it is not obscene!!)

"Whenever you are gone I just wanna be witchya, please dont get me wrong I just want a dirty picture"

Not meaning anybody in particular tarns!

Taio Cruz featuring Kesha (this is what happens when you have teenagers around the house.

Ok, Agreed emails can take longer if you are going into detail.... but not every email has to be like that, ..(this will get me in trouble...lol..)but in my experience tactful..tactful...there can be contradictory,..circumstances, for instance the lady in person said after the fact that she wanted to talk in person, not messages , Msn like i guess, but in saying that i had emailed her earlier, and said if u want to chat in person sumtimke, let me know a time u r free, and i never heard back...soooo i don't know wat that is all about, but
it seems now, im on the outer, and have become, too full-on for asking why she had not responded by now, and she was quite clear she has a busy life...well If it's that busy how is there gonna be time for someoneelse..??, but nevathe less, it seemed my asking has annoyed, i don't expect to hear back from her...
