Might be too late - but has anyone tried Savvytel? - I use them - they are pre-paid and use the Vodafone network, but more importantly - there is no contract and I only pay 12 cents per 30 secs and 15 cents per text.

Am happy so far.

Cheers

Martia: I am sick and tired of paying high fee's for my mobile.I am now plan free and all I use it for is making phone calls to other mobils no sms, downloading or anything.

On the whirlpool forums they are raving about this TPG one it looks very good and its very resonable. I do not need another phone and its 3G.

I want an optus line which TPG uses but I am a bit intimidated by all this this new media world go's too fast for me
cant keep up.Comparing all the prices looks easy but it isent.

Could someone please check out this TPG mob and see if they are as good as the nerds say they are ! if I pay as go they give you plenty of time to use the credit. Or another alternitive.
I wouldn't know...I'm pre-paiddrinking

The TPG service is going fine, coverage is excellent here being the Optus 3G network, and there's no probs with incoming caller ID .. all good wine
