you could say after suffering from depression haveing 3 visits
to hospital for mental illness and attemped suiside in my life,
you might say i have been to hell and back, not to mention
the loss of my marraige my home and my dignity, but out of all this i found out the person i realy am to learn to love and except my self, and to know that iam prescious and so much loved
in the eyes of GOD,

I think, to me anyway....
Unlike the religious route, being spiritual, albeit belief in a "christian" and charitable ethic to the way one lives and how one's fellow man is treated, one doesn't feel that belief in a "diety" is necesssary. Nor the need for following a particular doctrine, having a "crutch" to subscribe to. No need for organised en masse religion but rather the individual sets the benchmark for how they view the world, the meaning of life, if you will. No necessity either for a set of DOs and DONTs set by someone else.
There is room for, and in fact in some respects, essential, for independence of thought.... making one's OWN mind up?
In many respects, it may equate to the same thing, but freedom to have a "tailor-made" set of values and principles to follow as opposed to succumbing to any fear factor...?!

Sorry to hear of your past misfortune and I am sure your god is a great comfort to you. It sounds like you need something to focus on and better I supose to get high on the lord rather than drugs or alcohol but wouldn't you find a religious website more comforting due to it's like minded souls as you seem to be totally consumed with your belief.
