boomboom_uk: Just got to share my good news..Im so excited can hardly type...went to the hospital today with the intention of telling them I was stopping my chemo because the side effects were becomming unbearable..told I didnt think it was working anyway and she told me it is..my blood tests are showing negative the virus is gone..the downside is Ive got to stick the treatment out for another 6 months to be certain it wont come back..tough days ahead but now I know the virus is gone I`m more determined than ever to stick it out....3 CHEERS FOR BOOMBOOM...im on such a high....
I was in seventh heaven when posting this thread..it was posted last july...today Im still on treatment every time I see an end to it they add more weeks on..instead of the 48 weeks it is now 72 weeks,when asking them last week if they can tell me if the virus is still negative they tell me they wont know until they test me again in 6 months why cant they explain all this pre treatment Im fed up being told one thing then another ..feeling a wee bit down with this news I really thought in two weeks time I would be putting all this crap behind me..now I got to wait till the end of the yr to see if its worked..

It's shocking all the misinformation you have had to suffer on top of the treatment. Know you will be so disappointed M, don't know what else to say. Hang in there hun OK....

thanks Ralph..to them your just a number..they dont seem to realise how big an impact their small mistakes have..Im not even confident now that it has worked,they say I can go through the treatment again if it hasnt but there is no way on earth Im putting myself through all this again,hopefully the inquiry will be finished soon and I can afford private care
