That's one way of putting it, but still nice to know if your email got through, personally I would prefer a I'm flattered, but...

The lack of courtesy remark was for Ocee, not you Boban. Rejection does not bother me unless it's from someone you care about and have or had a relationship with.

A reply can be cruel, however hard you tailor it to be kind - it's still an explicit rejection.
Each to their own, that's what makes us unique. Personally as I think I have said I am not bothered by rejection from someone I don't even know. After all they have the right to, no reason to take it to heart.
