This is going to be a slight twist of the words, but purely for perspective reasons. I'll take 'Don't miss the water til' the water runs dry' as.. 'You don't know what you had until it's gone.' - that being said, I do know what I had, and I'm glad things are as they are now. Being able to step back and bring things into perspective that you never really saw or were too close to before helps in the long run with a positive perspective that you can 'run with' in some aspects. No regrets, no holding back.
