I'd like to see your information to support that as from what I know the insurgents have gotten weaker and the Iraqi government and security forces stronger which, is what the US withdrawal schedule is based on.

He is carrying on with Bush's plan to have a phased withdrawal contingent on the state of affairs in Iraq. That is why the lowering of troop strength from one hundred thirty to fifty thousand is a sign of success. Obama wishes to ensure that all is not lost for political expediency in his silly campaign promises as he knows he has already broken them since it is way past sixteen months but, he knows that he has to ensure Iraq does not fail hence, the reclassifying of one third of the troops to 'support' status.

Sometimes you just need to stay quiet about things......maybe GWB did not want the world thinking dirty nucs when he had two hot wars going on?

by the way....the thing about making dirty nucs is....you don't need HEU material or even LEU material. You just add enough of even a low grade ore to the to make it radioactive dirty nuc. You want to make it hotter....you just add more low grade material. 500t of even low grade yellowcake....is likely about 6-8 nuclear cores when processed.
It depends on their kilo size and processng method. But what the heck...Sadam would have never made nuclear processing facilities for making nuclear cores. He was too nice a guy for that......
You know what I finding interesting. GWB talked about Iran's growing nuclear proliferation of nuclear materials and processes. Liberals at the time assaulted him by getting the 'facts' wrong.
Obama comes out and shows satellite imagery of a hidden Iranian nuclear site near Qom, that supports GWB claims. Now we got Obama's DoD talking about thier contingency plans for strikes on Iran nuclear facilities. But hey....President A is too nice guy to use his nuclear facilities for making nuclear cores......
