I am frightened of heights. I can't even look over high balconies, and if I have a nightmare it's usually me clinging to the edge of a roof or something similar.

Nothing. I am afraid of nothing.

I have things I don`t like, but nothing I`m afraid of.

I suppose when you get as old as me, you realise there is nothing to fear?....except fear .. So if you don`t fear fear, what is there to fear?...Nothing!

Even death does holds no fear. Actually it is something exciting to look forward to, for me, cause I wanna know what happens...... To be THERE when it happens - to ME!

Everyone treats Death as something that "should not happen" - yet it`s a perfect exit from "this" life.....something we all designed for, and a secret about when it`s going to happen. Rather an interesting concept?

I fear nothng, for we attract that which we fear.

An interesting somewhat related footnote:

If I told you to close your eyes and think of your biggest fear, it would appear as an image in your thoughts.

If I told you to close your eyes and not think about your biggest fear, it would still appear as an image in your thoughts.

I'm certainly not suicidal, but definitely agree with the thought that death is nothing to fear. It is only another door that opens for us...of course, if you go down or up that is is dependent on you!

When I was a child I was afraid of death, not my own death but that of my parents. I think I have overcome it, death is the only sure thing in life so we have to accept it because sooner or later it will come to all of us. Now I think that we just have to enjoy each moment and to learn to appreciate all we have. Overcome this, I don't fear anything else, however, as you say, I have things I don't like, for example insects!barf

Oh yes, that is one thing I most definitely would NOT like ... to grow old and dependent! Like having to have someone hold my whisky glass ..... file my nails, wash my hair, feed me, take me out for walkies ...... wash my teeth! yugghhhh ..... imagine a bright young nursy saying "open your mouth dear I need to take your teeth out and wash them all nice and clean" .....

Nein! I put my foot down about that. Tis not in my agenda to be dependent. So I most definitely NOT fear that. You attract what you fear.

Can you please explain further "You attract what you fear"?

Come to think of it, I do not really fear becoming dependant. I just don't want it. If I do become dependant, then it is Plan 'B'.
