The internet has opened a whole new world and shrunk it in the process.
Biggest issue I see is the red tape and restrictions imposed on people by the various laws of countries. Personally I believe that people should be allowed to live and work where ever they'd like to in the world without having to jump through hoops. One cannot control where they were born.

I think internet dating is a tough at the best of times. Long distance relationships often don't work out. There has to be a great sense of trust as that person isn't around every day. I mean do we really know what that other person is up to. As for dating a person who lives in another country or is of a different culture I think the same rules do apply. It's all about trust and a person's sense of committment. Like someone said there's a lot to go through as well when it comes to dating someone of a different culture. I think it depends on how much someone is willing to go through for love.

Why would someone not pay taxes, health insurance, etc. if they choose to live in a different country? That wasn't my point. As for competing for business - doesn't that already happen?

As well, do you not pay for taxes etc. when you are working in different areas of the world? Could they not hire a local trainer as opposed to hiring yourself being a foreign worker? Its really cool... great chance to meet people you'd never meet in real life. Buecause besides the "location" issue, there are loads of social and cultural issues that separate us . A rich bussiness guy in europe talking to a student in southamerica... for ex.- That's not likely to happen in real life right?
At least on here we have the chance to show up the one we're with no MASK (social , economical ,religious, etc)(of course here im talking about normal people that's looking for real connections, friendship or love)

Wherein my post did I say that being "illegal" was ok? How do these people get away with it? Surely someone must know what they are doing and are going along with it. Therein lies part of the problem that I'm sure that they would contribute if they were allowed instead of living their lives in secret - the constant free of being discovered must weigh heavy on them, but do they not deserve a better life then where they came from? Some of the stories and what they have scarified to have a decent life - does not everyone deserve that?
