while upholding the view that people have no right to mistreat animals, whatever the financial reward for doing so may be .. the question of vegetarianism for me centres on whether you believe a life, however that be quantified, is better than no life at all .. farmers wouldn't raise livestock if it weren't sold for profit and consequently eaten .. and if farmers didn't raise the animals, they would all but cease to exist .. so, by evaluation, you could form the argument that it isn't people who eat meat that jeopodise the existence of the animals on which they feed, but inversely vegetarians .. no demand, no product .. I take it as read that you are not wearing leather shoes while abstaining from meat

after watching this youtube vid all i wanted was a nice thick steak, as for how it should be cooked, just put a flame near it....yum yum...cant believe i'm hungry again, i knew i should of cooked more chicken earlier

Before 3 months ago, you had seen no animals in your life, for eating purposes,and you never thought why animals killed for food.-In todays times and age,is unacceptable not to know,from where food comes from.

You jumb to coclusions, i did not suggested for changing your mind, i suggested, for learning more about Vegetarianism.-

There are some subjects that cause arguments, and my Dad taught me never to bring up the subjects of POLITICS and RELIGION ... as everyone has differing opinions and for some reason those subjects bring out the worst in people.......
...... and now I would add WHAT YOU EAT to that list.
I had a lifelong friend ... when we moved to different countries we kept up our communication .... and one day I wrote about me being vegetarian ... and she wrote back that she had never given a thought to what I eat ..... we had never made a fuss about what we ate, we both just ate what we preferred when we went out, or chose to eat at each others homes.
If some want to eat food with blood running out and others want raw vegetables ..... is no big deal!..... you eat what your body asks for, if you have the choice. If you got no choice then you eat whatever is available......! "Self-survival is a VERY strong instinct"!
