Bumped Your Head! (17)
MKR1015: I have only been a member for a couple of weeks and these are the experiences I have found:
Two people tried to scam for money from another country (good luck with that), one person wanted to fall in love right away and doesn't even know me, almost every person has tried to get my Yahoo ID (which by the way can be another scam to send you spam), have been accused of not being trusting enough to be in a relationship (after all I know a person on here so well that I am supposed to automatically trust you), a 26 year old trying to pick me up and I am 46, and people lying about who they are.
Now I am not in any way trying to be a B.... here, but have a few people fallen down and bumped their heads? I am just an honest girl looking for love in my life. I am stable and do not need hassle or drama. I may be 46, but I am not desperate (that's why I won't give anyone money-been there done that in life), I think trust is earned not just given because you say you are a trusting person, I think relationships are built and can't be known until we meet a person (we can find potential people here, but I don't see how people can profess love to someone after talking on the internet for two days), and quite frankly I feel it takes time to get to know someone. I realize there are people on this site that are genuine and really are looking for a partner in life.
DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE THE SAME VALUES AS ME? HAS ANYONE HAD GOOD EXPERIENCES HERE? PLEASE SHARE IF YOU HAVE BECAUSE I WOULD LIKE TO HEAR ABOUT THEM!

Well so far I have made some great chat friends and no one has asked for money..lol..I think this is a great site and it might be hard to exercise patience in meeting mr right but I think in time you will.

Welcome to the forums.I have made some wonderful friends through here. I've also had a few dates
sadly nothing has really worked out in that area.I think that you get out what you invest. I go to meets and have had the chance to travel to lots of places and meet loads of people that way.
Of course a degree of caution is required. You do get better at picking the 'scammer' or inappropriate contact, and block them accordingly.
