I'm sure you and they could visit! Ireland is a small country.

Are you shy or outgoing? Do you make friends easily? Is there a sports and social club where you work?

No harm to step outside your comfort zone and see how you get on.

its so much cheaper here too than dublin. you will really notice the difference. i say go for it anyways and see how you get on. we are not too bad down in the midlands laugh

Ah sure im shy at first but when i relax im fine.I would talk to anyone and have no probs making friends.Had a look at this town nd there does not seem to be much in it.

theres always things to do in most towns, join a club be it rugby football soccer rowing lots of options, make friends joining by joining the gym and so on, so why not just go for it

If you have no ties like kids or girlfriends or boyfriends for that matter then its off to offaly I would go, you never know what could happen out of it you could meet a nice female/male bogger and have lots of bogger childers and live happily ever after cutting turf and drinking porter in your spare time applause

It seems a pretty quiet town alright.
But...if you got yourself driving theres loads of commutable towns around that you could live it and that would have more life attached to them.
