YOu'll all laugh if i say what my first concert was. See it was going to be direstraits or talking heads but my parents had a rule no concerts before 16 years old and was a few weeks before my 16th so I vowed to go to first concert after my 16th.....sadly this was simmon and garfunkle....sigh..some good tunes but a zillion wasted hippys sitting on the grass saying "peace dude" not my thing.

Still made up for that later. head banger head banger head banger banana banana banana

We used to regularly see Thorpie and the original Aztecs and Ray Brown and the whispers at Surf city in the Cross (mid 60), we ofetn drank with them actually they were decent blokes. My fav was an unheard of pub band callled Steve James and the Crescendos, they played the old Bognor Hotel in Castlereagh Street. The Bognor was a real sailors pub, girls grog and fights, and a terrific band.
