TheresMyFriend: 1) Growing old is mandatory; growing up is optional...
2) Forget the health food. I need all the preservatives I can get.
3) When you fall down, you wonder what else you can do while you're down there.
4) You're getting old when you get the same sensation from a rocking chair that you once got from a roller coaster.

How about: no one teaches you how to lose a parent.
Your mother always said your health is the most important thing to have and you didn't know what she was talking about 'till now.
Your grown kids treat you like their the parent and you're the kid.
You put your kids through college so that makes them smarter than you.
Your grown kids are smarter than you.
Your kids roll their eye at you when asking about a new elecrtonic item and can't figure them out.
When you're constantly looking for something and that something is in your hand.
Looking for your glassess and you are actually wearing them.
When you realize diagraming sentences in all grades of school, never useing it in life and wonder why you were not taught something important, like retirement.
When, if you had to do it all over again, you'd mouth off and tell it like it is to a teacher just out of college that he or she thought they were Einstiens.
You wonder what you ever did without a t.v.remote,but now am too tired to get up to look for it.
When you lock yourself out of the house and car and the and both sets of keys are in the running car. [by the way,don't call a tow Co. Go to a dealers with the vin # and keys made are only $6.00]
