I love animals but you cannot compare the life of a dog to that of a human. There are many people on this planet that don't deserve life, but the vasy majority of our lifes are more important than a dog's. I would certainly slam on brakes if a human suddenly passed infront of my vehicle but would think twice if it were a dog as I would have to think of the safety of the other human road users in the vacinity, mine included.

Ah ffs there are people here unemployed, those that have had lousy relationships, widows, widowers, people whose businesses are on the line. Real worries, real pain and then i have to watch a girl being called a murderer for hitting a dog on the road. People come on here for a laugh and for some balanced discussion not that sort of off beam hysteria...

I'm gald I kept my gob shut and didn't say that I would have got the shovel to my dog instead of paying a 1000 euro to prolong his misery on a cold steel table in the vets. Glad I didn't say that, I would have been called a murderer too.
