I have to say I admire Adam Sandler for what he has done in his movies in regards to comedy without the overuse of profanity and still leave you laughing while leaving a message in his movies.
"50 first Dates" was the first movie of his I saw and liked it. "Waterboy" was great too.
englishelegance: The Out of Towners, Jack Lemmon and Sandy Dennis.
Now there's a woman that recognises talent when she sees it.
One of my favorite scenes from mad mad world was when Jimmy Durante kicked that bucket down the hill, or the look on Sid Ceasers face when they were flying in that ricketty old plane and the cars on the road below them were going faster than they were.
One of my all time favorite comedy movies was 1.2.3. with James Cagney. If you haven't seen it you owe it to yourself to find it.
