Shell225: If you get in a few forums - interest groups and chats, then Im sure you will be able to find people who'll meet for a cuppa and a bit of socialising.
Its difficult moving to any new place, and it does take time for people to get to know you. All you can really do is put yourself out there - chat to the person serving you at the supermarket, the guy at the corner store, the people around where you live. Tell them ALL that youre single and that you want to go out!!!! Go to concerts and things that you are interested in, that way you can strike up conversation with people who share the same interests as you.
As far as cities go, I think that Melbourne is the friendliest place that I've ever been to.
Oh and dont just chase the chicks.... get some man friends .. they have sisters, g/friends and so on ... network.. network.. network.

Have you seen the axe (chocholate)commercial...I try to pour myself with that everytime I go out, I have this habbit of it and kinda addicted to the chocolate smell. You can say Hi to a person who notices you, or looks at you.

I agree.... smelling chocolate would do nothing for me, except give me cravings for a freddo frog, and a subsequent guilt trip

Awww come on... are you implying that its ok for men to look at all their penthouses, playboys and picture magazines, and have a good old perve, but its not ok for women to perve??
Trust me .. whats good for the goose is good for the gander. Perving does not alter the fact that women want honesty, romance and trust in relationships... it just means that we are a bit more visual than you guys give us credit for
As for Hugh... well I'll be honest, Im single and he can park his boots under my bed any day (I hope he wears his wolverine claws too *pant* *pant*)... but and its a BIG BUT, if I had a wonderful man in my life permanently.. theres no way that I'd be thinking about Hugh, cause I'd have the real deal right beside me.
