shuvo81: About being part of forum. Friendship in net and real life differs man, I can't go out with you people and have fun this evening, Can I?

About work, that is the most depressing. Actually most of my colleagues are young females and I am invisible to them. I hate to think but I feel its because of my background. Not even a Hi or Bye...I have seen American movies where illegal immigrant cleaners from Mexico feel like they are invisible to the employees of the posh corporate houses that they work for. I kinda feel the same, although I do a professional job, it bites my mind, about being treated this way.

I can't imagine that your background would be the reason your female colleagues don't notice you confused

If you want to be noticed anywhere, by anyone, you have to be noticeable. Do you put a smile on your face when you're around them? Have you said hi to any of them, in passing? Do you dress well, keep yourself neat and wellgroomed? Splash on a bit of aftershave now and then? (women always notice a guy that smells great)

Get out there and be counted, people can mistake shyness or lack of confidence for arrogance or anti-socialism .. just what you DON'T want ..

You have nothing to lose by making contact with people, even if it has to be you who does it first. If they don't respond, or not in the way you hope anyway, maybe they're not people who you would wish to call friends anyway.

Good luck wine

shuvo81: I came downunder one and half month ago.I left my family, friends everything behind to lead a new life, where I thought I would make many friends. But my dreams are broken, leading a lonely life. Gal's in Sydney doesn't even care looking at me, maybe I am too ugly or some mysterious reason.Getting no response in any dating site or in real life.I am a soft and gentle guy, don't know what I have to do to get rid of this loneliness

Get out of bloody Sydney for a start - used to do real well there when I was a handsome young sailor, but it can be a bloody lonely place full of uncaring people, head for the bush mate, where real people live.

Down under in the outback you wait patiently
There are more sheep than people down under in the outback
So don't wait for me

Back home in the outback you're the one girl I know
But up here in Sydney they come and they go
How daintilly and gaily they skip down the street
And when I look at them I think of you and your size eleven feet

Down under in the outback you wait patiently
There are more sheep than people down under in the outback
So don't wait for me

The boomerang is an Australian device
You sling it away and it's back in a trice
It's harder to lose than a cold in the head
And when I think of it I think of you, and errck, enough said

Down under in the outback you wait patiently
There are more sheep than people down under in the outback
So don't wait for me

The outback is dry and the sun, how it bakes
You're pestered by insects and bitten by snakes
They reckon it's a land that lives under a curse
And when I think of it I think of you, and that makes it worse

Down under in the outback you wait patiently
There are more sheep than people down under in the outback
So don't wait for me

Have a quick look at it will ya - Don't wait for me
It looks like the lasserated lobe of a long lost lizards left lung - Don't wait for me
It's got teeth on it like a Romanian robber's dog - Don't wait for me
Dear oh dear - Don't wait for me
A head on it like a Mongolian racing tadpole - Don't wait for me
You're dinner's ready - Sure - Don't wait for me
It's the moustache that worries me - Don't wait for me
Wouldn't it slay ya - Don't wait for me
Strike me lucky - Don't wait for me
