katt1017: I like the ones that are a joke. "How many (fill in the blank) does it take to change a light bulb?" type things.

I have a serious job, there are many serious issues in my life. There is no harm in a little dumb fun now and then.

Here here Katt wine

Please, at least limit the polls to the polls thread.
We don't need the same poll in two locations at once. thumbs down

ooby_dooby: Why do people find it necessary to create a poll? Are they using it in some research project? Are they writing a book? What will they do with the results?
Here are my answers to these questions.

Why do people find it necessary to create a poll? They think it's cool.

Are they using it in some research project? No.

Are they writing a book? No

What will they do with the results? Absolutely nothing!

Why can't people simply start a topic of discussion instead of linking it to a poll? All that does is allow people who never respond to a thread an easy anonymous way to tip the scale without risking the possibility of being rebuked.

Comeon people get involved. Nobody is going to bite your head off. We may insult you and call you names but you'll live through it and be a stronger person to boot.

Yeah I wish they would get rid of that option.....what a load of codswollop....wave
