If someone takes the time to send a mail I'll always try to reply and say thanks but no thanks. Some appreciate the reply and some get thick and insulting wondering what you are doing here if you're not looking so those ones just get blocked.

Although I have to say there's nothing worse than putting time and effort into talkin to a girl and it doesn't work out

Its not always that they are not honest its often ourselves that fill in a lot of the blanks when chatting online to someone and then are let down when the reality doesn't match the expectation..

I reckon there are all sorts. The person who really likes you and would like it to continue, the person who likes having a safety net there if nothing better comes along, and the total player who may be dating all round him.

Oh, I got shot down for this before. I personally wouldn't date more than 1 person at a time but about 2 years ago I started something with someone who was dating 3 others at the same time. Then she picked the most suitable person who needless to say wasn't me.
I was quite hurt when I found out but the general consensus on here was that I should go away and grow up and that this was a dating site after all!
I wonder as a man, if the roles had been reversed, if CS members would have the same opinion.
