Are courtesy,good manners,honesty and respect for self,one another,community and country,old fashion ideas,are they out of date because they are no longer used,done,or admired by most people because it has been replaced by values that are more modern.......dunno confused

I see you are looking at it from a feminine point of view and I agree with courtesy and respect, in this respect, but don't you think courtesy and respect should be shown to men as wel, albeit in a different way.

im not sure,goodle didn't say..but its seems to me like its the opposite of what used to be....like not holding a door,or helping a old lady across the street...only thinking of ones self,not taking the time to smell the roses..dunno dunno

I agree,its a shame all kids are not taught these things still.But i can say that most of the kids i have met,are great kids...its some of the adults who surprise me at times.

Hi d/m.....i dont think the things you have mentioned , have been replaced with modern ideas.they dont seemed to be praticed so much as one would like now days.i have noticed this when driving.they would sooner crash into you then show a little coutesy by giving awayto you.i blame the parents ,not showing them what good manners mean.plus all the otherthings you spoke of.i think their bodies mature .long before their brains do.

Have you looked at our youth? I think a LOT of them do have courtesy,good manners,honesty and respect for self,one another... (thanks to their parents) but sadly, it's us adults who don't often lead by examples.
