From my experience there would HAVE to be a meet before determining whether you are going to make this work. I have met a couple of Ladies from this site, 1 I travelled a long way to see and another who came to visit me.
The first one I was a tad naieve and thought we could/would have something special. Unfortunately it was not to be and while we are still friends there was no chemistry. The second Lady turned into an absolute disaster and one I don't want to even think about now....
It has happened on this site, and others, where people fell for each other online and have gone on to have a great relationship.
However I have read here on numerous occassions where people profess their undying love for someone they have not met yet. Most dont seem to work out.
After my experience I suppose I am a tad sceptical, but in saying that anything is possible and miles are less of a barrier than false promises, misleading information or downright lies.
Travel is real........looking into someones eyes when they are talking is real.....feeling that spark when you hold hands or hug is real.......Go find out if its real for yourself.
