When in old age a husband or wife dies, the person left living often feels lost especially after a very long marriage. Health problems become more prevelent.
A happy and contented mind which one can have from a stable and loving relationship can lead to a happy and healthy body.
A lonely person who wants love can have more health problems. Also perhaps addictions which detrement their health - smoking, alcohol, food, etc.
So yes, I believe a secure and loving relationship can be good for the health.
