jaguardancer: When my love decided she no longer wanted to share her life with me I have to admit I was set back for quite sometime and yes even shed some tears. Well I shed more than some. I was wondering just how long other people shed their tears. I was not one to sing thank God and greyhound she's gone. I really missed her.

well truthfully I would rather have loved someone enough to be sad and shed a few tears over the relationship ending then not to ever have loved someone enough to feel sadness over the loss of the relationship JMO

My Aunt passed away. My uncle never dated after her death. We had a huge tornado here, causing much desrtuction. My uncle's car was ruined by hail, the size of golballs. His insurance angency sent an adjuster to his house, a women. He got a new car out of it and and a new wife, she was the insurance. rep. They married and she was 50 and had never been married before. Wonderful person.That was 24 years ago. There is still hope so don't give up. You never know how you will meet someone. Best wishes , Holly

My Grandmother used to put wooden matches with the tip sticking Out..... and said this helps, not sure if it is the sulpher or what.... But she Claimed that worked...
she did it every time she cut onions...

I've had several big heartaches in my life.
Losing a woman could bring me tears.
But nothing compared to losing my kids.
That took a long time to recover from.
