confused Christianity good
peoples interpretation of it in my subjective opinion, I think that
as with all religions it should be viewed like a guide book to life. If people took the trouble to talk and listen and write words down then we should take the time to think about what they thought and learn from it, if not we will stagnate as a species, and adaptation is the mother of survival....but unless we can build a space ship in time before the world blows up all this would be in vain and maybe that is something we have to live with?
What is going to be my contribution to this earth?
What ever it is , make it a good one.handshake

I agree but why not make your own threads instead of bumping old ones. You just make enemies with this Mr Angry attitude. Im an Atheist and have many gripes against Christianity - just start a thread and if they come in spewing hatred at you (which I guarantee) deal with it then..........

SCatlyn: Started this thread in hopes of ending the "troll-feeding" going on in the previous thread on this topic. All views welcome... (just don't care to encourage trolling).
Irregardless of all that is written here or elswhere, people are going to belive what they want to belive . Religious belives will always be used to to the advantage of those that manipulate it, and most that are told to follow it will do so . . . Nothing has changed in that respect over the last several thousand years, and I don't think it will ever . Now as to the question of religion being good or bad, I personaly belive that it depends on who does the manipulating .angel devil

“Religion is an insult to human dignity. With or without it, you'd have good people doing good things and evil people doing bad things, but for good people to do bad things, it takes religion.”
