Morning Icke. Yep I had a good night thanks, but don't feel good this morning. It's a long story but my head is bothering me a lot. The diet is fine though, which is the most important thing.

Notice how nobody seriously replied to my thread yesterday about kissing and cuddling me? I can't say I blame them but I knew they wouldn't. Next I'll be told there's nothing wrong with me. laugh

The only women who ever say such nice things about me are ones who are too far away or the wrong age or who are with someone already. Nobody actually single, local and looking for someone ever says those things. Oh well I won't mope about it too much because I've been told many times how that puts women off me too! I can't seem to win.

Regarding your private msg - I'm glad you agree! grin

Teeheehee - The food I resorted to eating last night may as well have been dust! It was these cracker things without even cheese in. I got them just as something to munch on that isn't too bad for me, even though they don't taste of anything!

It's now day 6 of my diet I think (did I start Monday?) and I'm doing well. grin

I did find Weight Watchers worked for me when I lost 3.5 stone last year. I wouldn't pay their huge costs just to go to their meetings and get weighed though. I know how to work out the points, so did my own database to keep a record of it all and to also log my weight. I'd do the same this time too, but I'm so fussy with food that I always eat pretty much the same things, so I know in my head what I can eat without logging it all. I should log my weight but at the moment I don't want to know what I weigh as I know I must have put lots on since I wrecked the diet last time.

What I would really love though is a local club that I could go to where everyone is in the same position as me, but that didn't cost lots (as I'm very short on money right now). I have looked around and there doesn't seem to be such a club locally.

whenever i want a club or orgainsation or whatever, that dosent exist locally .. i start my own.

you have the knowledge and the experience why not start your own group? you dont even need a venue you could meet in each other homes until membership got too big.

in the last village i lived in I started a slimming group, a yoga group, a anfternoon mums club ooo and lots more

right now I am gettin a locval womens group started "For
Women of “a certain age” out motto is "too old to be young but too young to be old."we have
Weekly meetings
Talks
Demos
Day trips
Nights out
Cinema & theatre trips
And much much more
and we are called THE ROSE BUDDIES

i am also running a book club for men and women .. i cant just sit around and wiat for someone else to do so i do it myslef.cool

It's a nice idea but I don't actually know anybody locally, and I don't have enough confidence to advertise locally for people. It just isn't "me". If I did find a club I'd find it tough enough just to go along even. I think I probably would though.

That is great that you've done all those clubs! Shame you don't live here. :)

Just ask for directions of how to get here. :)

A totally different subject but I keep meaning to write this - Why is there no standard smily? The smilies they have are all very good, I like them a lot, but I often want to just put a plain smile (not the big cheesy one showing lots of teeth). Well it was just a thought. :) I've just looked through them again and I hadn't spotted the 2 smiles holding a drink before - But I don't drink so I'd rather one of them was holding a Coke! A DIET Coke, of course.
