I became a member of CS almost 6 years ago..yeah I know!!
It was one of the most exciting times of my life..Got the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people that I would have never otherwise met! Some travelled from the US and within Canada to visit with me...we had some awesome get togethers as they timed their visits so that we would all be here together...I had a full house back then! kiss
We burned up the forums with our threads and heated arguments...some of us got locked out for a spell for some of the things we said...and then the phone lines would burn up as we tried to keep our comrades connected.conversing
We supported each other during births, deaths and just plain old misery...we rallied together when one or another got hurt or "played"...(Did any of us even sleep!!)

Like I said, one of the most exciting times of my life...are you all still having that kind of fun on here?cheers

I hear ya...I see friendship in the forums, but no sense of strong connection with one another. That is definitely the one thing I miss as well....That being said, I think it's up to us (those that miss that connection) to form new connections of our own with people and start the process over again :)

Hate to say it but no, the majority of people I had that sort of relationship with have left.

Seems to be alot of nastiness now and personal remarks. bouquet

That's too bad morgan5...

I have remained friends with some of them...but life happens and we just seem to have enough time to check in and say a quick hello...and certainly I don't have the time to spend on the forums as I used to...

Came back on here this morning just to see what's happening out there is CS land!wave

I agree partially...There does seem to be alot of nastiness in the forums...But that being said, I think it just means those of us that aren't nasty, need to do a little more to make it a brighter place.

I know personally, I miss people like Hugz,Mylife, and a bunch of the regulars, but for one , I was fortunate and still had my Morgan here when I came back which brought me a smile, but I noticed in general, most of the people I knew were gone...

I was going to leave the site really because in general, I couldn't find anyone familiar to talk too, but I went ahead and started a new circle of friends...

I'd like to think i have a few already that I can talk to about anything and everything and still have a good time with and yeah it maybe only a handful, but in the end, all you need is a few people that you can relate too , to really enjoy yourself.

Little by little, I am enjoying it for what it is, and for what it's always been. A great place to meet people and to make friends..Should something more come along in the process, fantastic, if not, that is fantastic as well because I've made new friends ...

Morning wave I agree with what you say, and it is what you make of it just think its a pity that some hide behind their computer screens and set out to cause disruption.

That being said, I would love to see a bunch of the regulars that are still on here, return to the forums...It was always great to read opinions from different perspectives and from different angles, not to mention, some people were just great to hear from.

Couldn't agree more, but one thing I've learned during my time "away" is, you can't let them get to you because in the end, it's personal choice as to whether you let them dictate what enjoyment you get out of being here :)
