stanley8mkildare, Kildare Ireland156 Threads 7 Polls 5,341 PostsI was watching that prime time program and it showed how easy it is to buy cheap cigarettes online in Ireland, just tried to google it myself as I am a smoker and thought I could save myself a few bob but couldn't find anything,, any tips on how to get cheap cigarettes online would be greatly appreciated and maybe a few of us CS nicotine addicts could get together and form a cooperative, buy in bulk to further reduce costs.
i wouldnt advise it they could be a bit more dangerous. im a smoker myself. not a big smoker i used to have 20 a day now mayb 2 r 3. they are not worth the risk

This is where Ireland is cheating again. In the UK, you can bring as much as you want in as long as duty has been paid somewhere.
So with duty free cigarettes you're allowed I think 200. But if you buy them in Spain or Greece in a shop, even though they are cheaper than the duty free, you can bring in as many as you want for your own use as you have paid duty elsewhere. A Transit van full if you like!

That is the one thing that will always do well in a recession, the black economy, the trouble is that you really wouldn't know if you are buying decent stuff, or absolute crap.

The last time I was in Dublin cigarettes were being sold by people pushing pram/barrow vehicle.

I don't want the ones that taste like smoking burning rags and are highly toxic, the travellers sell them at the local market every week. Nice little tasty cigarettes with east european type warnings but smuggled across a half a dozen countries would be lovely.

Ah true,, I did mention that but wasn't actually thinking of becoming the head of a criminal smuggling type organisation or if I was then maybe advertising for gang members on a dating site wasn't exactly the most cunning of plans.
