I've always had and always driven automatics and never had a bother with any of them in snow or ice.
Find them good in all weathers and much faster on roads and easier on petrol.

Automatics are not easier on petrol, they are alot harder on
juice than a manual, If you look at MPG figures for any car
Automatic and manual models, The manual or stick shift as you
guys call it will be more economical

a lot of older automatic cars (20yrs or more) dont have that so thats where the urban myth came from.
even the expeditions to the north or south pole all use automatics 4wd vehicles instead of manual versions.
hmmm, so I have no excuse for parking my corsa all week and making Pat get up to take the kids to school?
