I don't scare easy and don't like horror movies. I prefer comedy, romantic or Science fiction.
There was this movie a long time ago, Boogie man. He came out of broken mirror pieces and killed people. I liked the music in that one and was still young enough to get som shivers back then.

Each has their own element of scariness.
I personally feel it's the music that draws more of the scary feel then the actual elements you see on the screen.
I do enjoy more suspense in horror films then the slasher type genres. Things that slowly sneak up, twisting the plot lines, more people disappearing and then BAM!!! Totally got ya.

Agree with you about the music! It can make or break a scary movie; to this day the music in the movie Sleepy Hollow will wake my son up in a cold sweat.

but The Devil
i never scare when i see movies about zombies or vampires - i think zombies are funny
but ghost movies are very scary - u shock wen u see a ghost flashes - specially with high sound volume - i never scare even by ghost movies if sound volume is low - sound volume is very important
ghost movies that ive seen and are little scary = Evil Dead 2 - 5 girls - The Eye - 1408 - Ghost Ship - Boo - The House - The Reeds - Dead Woods - 6th Sence - The Others and etc... cant remember now
and also movies that are about The Devil are scary like The Devils Advocate
