patmac: Doing it again, folk like me (a catholic) FOR THE RECORD, are not interested in Testimonies and preaching . Only in the tolerance we keep asking for for ALL. That is "Believers" and so called non believers..... By the way do you actually read the folk who ask for tolerance and request to stop preaching at us as you consistanly do.
And just to keep you happy someone once said there are very few Athiests on a death bed ....So eventually it comes to most of us

im not preaching but im stating what i want to state just like you do in here...Are you not stating yours too? you are for sure, right?....If you are NOT INTERESTED, that is no problem with us at all but you are not the only person here in the forum who is reading...Our testimonies are NOT INTENDED TO PEOPLE LIKE YOU OR TO ANYONE WHO DONT BELIEVE but TO THOSE WHO BELIEVES...if you disagree with what we are saying, then sorry for that......
whether you accept it or not, it is up to you....but i will always say what i believe just like you also say what you are believing...
If thats what you think, thats fine with me...i have no problem with that....you have yours, i have mine.......but we will continue of testifying the goodness of God that He has done in our lives...as an inspiration to others who believes...

I never really understand why people say if you don´t like a thread or the the topic don´t post in it. All threads are open for discussion whether we agree with the OP or not, so every thread writer should expect some dissenting views.
There are of course threads I don´t participate in because they are quite frankly stupid and boring, and having been here a long time I´ve seen many a million times before, though worded in a variety of ways.
As for this thread, well I can only say that if I met a person in real life who could only quote passages of the Bible I would think he or she was not "the full shilling"
and run a mile!
You two really do go a little overboard with your Godly quotes in my opinion, and that has nothing to do with the fact that I´m an atheist whatsoever.
I believe I lead my life in an honourable way and I do more than many so called believers putting back into society what I´ve taken, so I don´t take threads like this seriously.
Tell us what you actually do in "God´s" name for others rather than what you read and learn by heart, then I and others might find it more interesting.

And to the TESTIFIER I do as I always say keep my belief to myself and tolerate, no respect all folks beliefs.
Except for the FUNDAMENTALISTS of ALL persuasions and the folk who need to give Testimonies to prove to who? they are holier than thou..Crap !!!! If you are comfortable with your belief (no matter what that is ) you do not need to Testify and preach.
Toleration of all is the key IMO but by testifying and preaching your version you actually alienate more folk...
