Newlife08: I really enjoyed the Xmas/New Year Holiday break. Extra days off tagged on to the weekend.
Weather wasn't great - but good time to slob around, eat some of those choccies and watch DVD's.
But the downside is I could really handle working 3 or 4 days a week.
But then again - I would be broke
So back to grinding stones and making plans, and hopefully making them happen.

So on your page newlife. I start back at work on Monday and I could easily do with another month off. I've had the best break and relaxed, organised, socialised. It's been marvellous.
If I could just get someone to pay me for being on holidays I would be very happy.

I work a 4 day week 10 hour days, with an RDO each week, now for the good news, this Friday coming is my RDO, and to make it even better so is the Monday after the weekend, so that’s four days off! This happens every five weeks, unless the boss wants me to work overtime? Because he is short on drivers,

Just had the one day off...looking forward to some rnr..
Makes it hard when you just change jobs and have to take annual leave for the compulsary shutdown
But needed the break to get some work down at my place and my daughters. Next year, I am going to demand to work so that I don't have to work so hard.
