I have shared a bed with a very close friend (female) and everyone assumed that I (male) was having it off with her. Discrete (?) inquiries from friends sorted that out and we were able to sleep (only) in the same bed without all the hoo-haa (???) that usually goes with it. If there was spare bed (or a boyfriend staying over), I took whatever place I could find. It was a very good relationship. The answer to others is "we are good friends and have trust and respect for each other."

If he was any kind of man he'd offer you his bed and he'd sleep on the floor. Especially with your condition.
But thats jmo.

Sorry. Yeah jmo=just my opinion.
Um well in my opinion, if HE was the one who offered, then I don't think its a bad thing for him to give up his bed for you. Especially since you've said you'd have problems sleeping on the floor. Personally, I couldn't sleep in the same bed as a male friend. Whether it was innocent or not. I'd be worried the whole might he would try something. (Yes I do have trust issues with men lol but thats besides the point). I only share beds with men I know i'll be sleeping with (not that much sleeping happens at the time lol or that I make a habit of often sleeping in other mens beds). But although i'm 29 i'm a bit old school and think chivalry should still exist. There are things a man should do for a woman.

personally its not a gender issue for me... there are also things people should do for people in general.. I dont think its about being male or female .. it is about being considerate for another human being.. male or female.. if someone has had an op and they need a bed to sleep in then .. the person who doesnt NEED it could let the person who does NEED it have it .. its not like its a long term thing cos then t h a t would be different laugh I dont sleep well in other beds so I don't think I would like to give up my bed long term
