Draeko: Can anyone help me?
Somehow, someone got my password on facebook and starting changing my status and adding random friends. I immediately changed my password.
I was on my facebook the following night. I always keep my chat offline. Then every 2 minutes it kept going online...no matter how many times i set it to be offline.
Anyways, I reported suspicious activity on my account to facebook and they then suspeneded it.
In order to retrieve it you have to verify your account. To do this, you must recieve a security code from facebook to verify that you are the owner. I click 'send' yet the security code never arrives in my email. My email address is correct. I've tried near 100 times. I've tried contacting facebook but, nothing!!
Any ideas?

Open a new email and set up a new account.

I know I could set up a new one, I just want to know is there anything I can do to retrieve my original. Alot of stuff on it that I wouldn't like to lose.

I'd change your email password and then log into facebook and change your password there too.

but thats the thing...as soon as i log on, I'm redirected to a page that says I have to verify that I'm the owner of the account.
In order to verify that I am the owner, facebook must send me a security code. When I click on the link to send the security code....I never receive it....I've done this 100times!

It's happening a lot today , one of my pals on fb told me same thing happened to them today
ask a friend 2 go onto your info page and make sure your original e-mail address is still the 1 being used on the facebook account, the hacker could have changed the email address and be receiving the security codes???

Have you cleared out your browser Cache? If not, you could just be loading up a temporary internet file and are stuck in the the same page time in time out.

I don't think that's the case....cuz when i click the link my email address comes up... the tab says "send to this address".

If u can get onto the page , go to the bottom click help then go to security ,some info on there that might help
