confused R there tell tale signs that I've neglected to notice? doh ((.. it's not like they get around with S-I-N-G-L-E written in black pen on their forehead .. yay ))

Asking in the end is the only real reliable way, but there are subtle things a person will do that may shed clues.

such as?? ((btw ... Asking someone approaching u in the street who looks cute *R U SINGLE?* .. is not really a suitable or appropriate course of action .. laugh ))

There are things to look for, too complicated to explain here. Obviously you are not going to just walk up to a stranger and ask them something like that.

K...If I see a handsome studmuffin that I would like to meet I approach make small talk, Blah Blah O how nice, yak Yak, you dont say, soooo are you single?? I find it especially effective If I suck back a helium ballon beforehand grin

To put it briefly body language (that is very brief) and that each individual is different. If you are just looking for friends, I cannot imagine that would be too hard.

... the closest thing i've seen that pretty much spells out SINGLE is a guy in a supermarket by himself, stocking up on frozen pizzas .. frozen hamburgers .. frozen fish ... laugh

See there you go, that is definitely one of the signs. If you were not all the way in Australia, I would have said you saw me do that. laugh

Supermarket might be a good place to start a conversation, I am sure the guys down there would be willing to talk to you!
