I do believe you have to accommodate other people, consider their wishes and feelings. Even make concessions at times as we are ALL only human and not infallible, but.....
The deciding factor must surely come when making allowances for someone turns out to be actually making excuses for that person? I would question WHY am I having to make excuses.....
