I was sent the video of this song today "Caledonia" by Dougie MacLean. I don't know what is wrong but can't put the video on here. It is a wonderful song. I love it!

Thank you carenza and RDM! My youtube doesn't like me today, couldn't get any of his versions to work on here, was able to post it to Facebook..I don't know what is going on
Until today I have never heard the song nor this singer, he is awesome! I've played it over and over it's so beautiful. I was sent this song from a friend in Wales who is in love with a woman in Scotland!! I think it must be going great with them! Wish them well
Thanks Pat! I am listening to that version right now, it's such a great song, still liking Dougie's version the best so far. There are others I see. I am going to listen to them too.
Inaugurated by the Academy of American Poets in 1996, National Poetry Month is now held every April, when publishers, booksellers, literary organizations, libraries, schools and poets around the country band together to celebrate poetry and its vital place in American culture. Thousands of businesses and non-profit organizations participate through readings, festivals, book displays, workshops, and other events. Vincent Price masterfully performs the Raven.
R-I-P Edgar and Vincent Edgar Allen Poe spoke to me 10 years ago as I was losing my mind... I learned and got better.
"Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered weak and weary, Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore, While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping, As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door. `'Tis some visitor,' I muttered, `tapping at my chamber door - Only this, and nothing more.'" ~Edgar Allan Poe, The Raven. 1845
Thank you for posting it, Jack.
A true masterpiece. Edgar A. Poe is one of the most weird, original and unique geniuses, IMO. I started reading Poe when I was in my early teens and always loved it.
"I'll chase away those restless fears That turn your blue skies into grey Why worry, there should be laughter after the pain There should be sunshine after rain These things have always been the same So why worry now" ~Dire Straits - Why Worry
Beautiful song. Love it.
It's a full of sunshine Sunday here in NYC today, with brilliant blue skies and all!!
