In 2002 John Prescott was asked why the English were not included on the 2001 census form, his reply :" the English do not exist as a nationality and England does not exist as a Nation" , also asked if St Georges Day could be celebrated his reply was :" yes as long as it doesn't upset any Ethnic minorities"

i dont care what my passport says or what people say, your nationality is the country where you where born. i was born in england so i am english not british. if you where born in scotland then you are scottish and not british etc. etc.
It's funny actually when I hear someone say they are American. What is an American? Truthfully it would be an Indian. But there is such a mismash of blended nationalities here that it is just based on being born here or acquiring citizenship that you are labled American. But in England you are true English and anyone that wants to be a citizen there should respect that. If they don't, I say tough titties.

I agree. Butif you go back to England after a long stay abroad, they question your intentions of living in your own country

Ahhh the old reverse discrimination trick...Theres a wave of that happening in Canada as well. Employment for example...Its based on minority/disabilities now. It doesnt matter how qualified the applicant may be. If hes an average white bread Canuck whos educated and qualified, not to mention paid for that education themselves, it means less than nothing. A minority group or disability will take precedence every time...Its become a very sad state of affairs.
