hi i'm non smoker ex was a smoker, never again will i go out with a smoker

on the flip side im a smoker and i dont like dating a non smoker feel so bad for smoking because of the smell and all
there are far more important things that would be a "dealbreaker" than smoking in my opinion....
someone once told me that the smell of smoking made him physically ill, and he had been a smoker for years, in my head that complete BULL...... fair enough and more power to him for giving them up, but these high and mighty anti (previously addicted to same) smokers drive me dolally....

I don't smoke but I wouldn't mind a light smoker. Someone who smokes a lot just doesn't smell good and that's a turn off

I agree completely, nothing annoys me more
They used to smoke 40/day now the mere smell of cigarette smoke makes them feel physically ill
I mean even 20 pounds of freshly-ejected horse crap would not make me feel phsically ill, maybe slightly queasy at most.

Same here! I dont smoke but have at various times in my life...dont like anyone smoking in my house now as the smell lingers and is hard to clear from the soft furnishings but I spend time in smokers company and it doesnt bother me.JMO
the thing I hate to see is pregnant women smoking...seems very wrong!

I only smoke when i get stressed to calm down so yes i wouldn't have a problem dating a regular smoker
iv never even tried smoking my parents did enough of it around me as a child to put me off though my mam gave them up 19 years ago when my cousin was born, my dad on the other hand smokes like they are going out of fashion and i find it disgusting to walk into the kitchen(only room he smokes in)and theres a cloud of smog and the smell of it on everything makes me also hate when he lights one and were eating that also makes me dont think i could have a long term relationship with a smoker

Yes my best friend from school now lives up in Aberdeen. When i visited him a few years back we went for tea at his uncles house. His uncle apparently smokes 80 roll ups per day. This was evident to me as all the way through tea he had a cigarette on. Very unpleasant atmosphere & even his dog had a cough poor thing
