Ok new to forum so gotta start a thread...
1st date the chick/guy (wateva ur fancy) spends the whole time judging ur comments, over-analysing you. By the end of date they want to see you again. Would you wanna see them again????

Personally I say no. The whole time u spent judging me i didnt get a chance to enjoy you and saw sumone i didnt like!!

I guess you could argue that if someone behaved like this on a date, they simply found you fascinating and just wanted to know more about you. It would depend on whether I found the attention flattering or intrusive.

Some people ask a lot of questions to control interactions, not just on dates but with everyone. Sometimes guys will ask certain questions just to tease or mess with you, to see how you'll react. That's cool, but if I suspected I was being toyed with or manipulated for their amusement, I'd feel very uncomfortable.

It depends if you want to spend the second date with them judging and over-analysisng. There is nothing to suggest their behaviour would be any different. Nah, a date is for getting to know someone in a fun and non-judgemental way.

If, on the first date, he made me feel uncomfortable in any way (by doing the above, or for any other reason)...then no, theres no second date.

You can never judge anyone on one date so why bother trying.

First dates should just be an ice-breaker and that way it is a get to know each other session.grin cheers

Got to agree with you there, V, if there's bad vibes or an uncomfortable feeling then no second date!

Guys have to be wary as well uh oh but yeah, I agree. The first date is about deciding whether the person is someone you want to see again. If for any reason Im uncomfortable (of course Id speak up on the first date, if he DID make me feel uncomfortable), then no, I wouldnt want a 'repeat performance'.

Its not about 'judging' him...its about the way he makes me feel (which is what a first date is about isnt it, to really see how this person makes you feel, on a one-on-one situation?). If he makes me uncomfortable, then no, I wouldnt want to continue seeing him...sorry....

Depends doesn´´t it? I´ve been on first dates, as I´m sure you have, when I´ve wanted to be transported back into time when I´m getting ready for the date and something happens which prevents me from ever going on the date. laugh
